EFCC rearraigns Fani-Kayode For Corruption Charges/Money Laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has rearraigned a previous Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, before a Lagos Division of the Federal High Court.

Mr. Fani-Kayode, who was a piece of previous President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-race battle, was rearraigned nearby Nenadi Usman, a previous priest of state for fund on a 17-tally charge of illegal tax avoidance and claimed preoccupation of N4.6 billion.

Others incorporate one Danjuma Yusuf and an organization, Joint Trust Dimension Nig. Ltd.

The respondents argued not liable before Justice Rilwan Aikawa, another judge.

The judge had assumed control trial after Mr. Fani-Kayode connected for the past one, Muslim Hassan, to recuse himself from the trial in light of the fact that he was the EFCC officer who marked a criminal accusation documented against him.

Mr. Hassan filled in as an EFCC legitimate officer before his height to the seat.
